The Kansas City Chiefs will be without one of their offensive weapons on Sunday at the AFC championship game.
On Saturday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney would be out for the team’s game vs the Ravens due to personal reasons.

The “personal reasons” Schefter was referring to was later revealed to be that Toney’s wife had given birth on Saturday night, the night before the game.
“When the Chiefs downgraded Kadarius Toney from questionable to out for Sunday’s game, they added “personal reasons” to the designation, along with his existing hip injury. Per source, Toney had a baby daughter born tonight.”
It is worth noting that Toney is also dealing with a hip injury but decided to be pulled once his wife gave birth.
Toney isn’t the only offensive player out for the Chiefs on Sunday. The team’s all-pro guard Joe Thurney will also be out vs the Ravens.
The #Chiefs have ruled out All-Pro guard Joe Thuney with a pec strain.
