Chris Henry Jr. is committed to play college football at Ohio State. He is not going to flip.
The eldest son of late Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry Sr., who was legally adopted by Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, remains faithful to the Buckeyes.
Henry will graduate from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California around this time next year. He will then begin his college football career in Columbus next August if he does not choose to enroll early for the spring semester. Ohio State could not be more excited to get him in the system.
It depends on where you look, but Henry rates as a five-star prospect. He is one of the five-best wide receivers in the recruiting Class of 2026. Brian Hartline and the Buckeyes first offered him a scholarship as an eighth grader because they knew how special he was and is going to be.
Chris Henry Jr. made a defensive back look foolish with a grown-man touchdown during the first game of his junior season last fall. There are very few high school corners who can guard him at 6-foot-5, 205 pounds!
There is always an adjustment period between high school and college but it will not take long for Henry to get acclimated. His frame is already for the next level.
He recently ran an offseason workout with some of his future Ohio State teammates at Mater Dei. Henry makes them all look small.

Jeremiah Smith is listed on the roster at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds. Henry dwarfs him!

I would not be surprised if Henry is actually closer to 6-foot-7 than his listed height of 6-foot-5. 205 probably makes sense. The Buckeyes will get him in the weight room as soon as he gets to campus. He is likely going to play closer to 220 in college. That’s scary! Big Ten defenses beware.
