Christen Harper, the fiancee of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, has certainly been living her best life for the past couple of years (despite having to move to Detroit).
Her man has been having a pretty good run with the Lions, who appear to have finally turned the corner after reeling off eight wins in their final 10 games of 2022. (Perhaps the fans there will be nicer to her and Goff now.)
She was part of a web series called Women of the League where various wives and girlfriends of NFL players talked about things like management of their finances, NFL contacts and prenups.
Harper was also named co-rookie of the year for the 2022 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and more recently, launched a new line of swimsuits with her best friend Elizabeth Turner.
As co-rookie of the year and with an obvious nose for swimsuit fashion, Christen Harper was a lock to be one of the models chosen for the 2023 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
So, with the latest edition of the annual publication coming out next week, Christen Harper decided to remind everyone with a little behind the scenes video from this year’s photo shoot.
“Livinggggg for this @si_swimsuit bts because…. SI SWIMSUIT HITS THE STANDS ON MAY 18th,” Harper wrote in the description of the video in which she does a little dance on the beach. “Can’t wait for you guys to see these pics.”
In case you were wondering, Jared Goff and Christen Harper met on a dating app.
“I wasn’t really looking for anything at the time,” she revealed on the Women of the League show. “We were just kind of like, I was just kind of being single and having fun and I met him through the dating app and he was very persistent trying to take me on a date but I wasn’t really like looking for that. But he kept trying and trying and finally it was like a Thursday night, I was like, ‘okay, I have nothing else to do, I might as well go on a date,’ literally. ”
And what dating app might that be? Asking for a friend.
