As winter turns to spring, the release of ‘College Football 25‘ is getting closer. EA Sports is set to drop the most anticipated video game of the century all-time at some point this summer.

An exact release date has yet to be announced but it’s coming soon!

There are a lot of unknowns surrounding what the game might look like. All we know is that — according to EA Sports developers — it is not going to be the same as the Madden series. That’s great news.

A teaser for the game provided a very small glimpse at how it is going to look back in February. Three voiceover scripts were leaked at the beginning of March. Some school-specific assets have been reported through FOIA requests, like Mississippi State’s audio files and Rice’s uniforms.

Otherwise, very few details about College Football 25 have been made public.

Billy Jones, a student journalist at the University of Missouri, is singlehandedly responsible for the most illuminating update to date. He received renderings of Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium, home of the Tigers. They are the first colorized images to which we, as eager and impatient fans, have been privy.

This is such a minor part of the game. Eight still images of one singular football field does not mean that College Football 25 is going to be good or bad.

HOWEVER, those eight still images are pretty beautiful.

They look nothing like NCAA 14. They have all the intricate features — all of the way down to the trees and buildings in the backdrop of the stadium. Even the block lettering on the sideline is great to see.

EA Sports is not messing around when it comes to accuracy. They have been very vocal in that affirmation from the jump and it is much appreciated. All we want as fans is for the game to feel like real life. These images are a good sign.
