Almost every college football fan in the nation shares one question: Which school is Arch Manning going to go to play when he graduates high school?
It is a question that every college football pundit has been trying to answer ever since he first started making national news at the age of just 13.
Now, with three full high school football seasons under his belt, we are closing on the time when the son of Cooper and nephew of NFL legends Eli and Peyton Manning will be making a decision.
Numerous reports have stated that Arch Manning has been narrowing down his list of potential colleges.
The first colleges to appear to gain the most traction in Arch Manning’s recruiting process were Clemson, LSU, Georgia, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Florida, Texas, Tulane and Alabama.
Which colleges are out in front in the sweepstakes for Arch Manning’s services?
This week, however, at least according to Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports.com, that list has been narrowed down to six schools with three in particular standing out.
“Well, there’s six teams in play for Arch Manning, who’s going to round out his basketball season,” said Wiltfong. “And then after that, we expect him to hit the road and see some schools again. It’s an important next wave in his process where he wants to get out and see some of these programs go through spring practice and get a feel for the coaches and how they are in that setting and how the players respond to him. I think that’s another important component.”

“As he continues to be diligent with this process, the schools, of course, that are in the mix are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas. I think that Alabama, Georgia and Texas, particularly, have done a really good job with Arch, who has high interest in all the schools I mentioned. LSU’s making a later move here under the new coaching staff, and the same goes for Florida, and I think he wants to give those programs a good look. He’s intrigued by them.”
“And then, certainly, Ole Miss — Charlie Weis Jr., the new offensive coordinator went into Arch’s school all three weeks of the January period and (head coach) Lane Kiffin spent most of one day there as well, and he’s a legacy recruit for the Rebels (as Cooper Manning’s son and Eli Manning’s nephew). But expect him to take some spring and summer visits and then go from there.”
Arch Manning is 25-6 as a starter at Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans, throwing for 6,,307 yards with 81 touchdowns, plus 19 more on the ground. When he does finally make a decision on a college, he will immediately become a millionaire.
