Colorado Player Rips Team For Playing ‘Too Much Selfish Ball’ After Losing Fifth Game In A Row

It appears that the Colorado Buffs are beginning to implode.

After starting the season 3-0, the Buffs have gone 1-7 and are currently on a 5-game losing streak.

On Friday night, Colorado was embarrassed by Washington State in a 42-point loss, which led to a disappointed coach, Deion Sanders to talk about the team’s lack of identity.

“Very sad at how we played. We practiced hard this week, we prepared like no other, to display a performance like that is not who we are or how we are,” “I have been boasting since the beginning of the season that I had not seen us quit or turn it down. There were some plays in the first half that I didn’t see the passion I wanted to see. We got on them at halftime, and they went back out there and balled, I applaud them for fighting in the second half.”

“That’s (the game is) not who we are,” Prime said. “Still trying to figure out who we are and our identity—but I still don’t know after all these weeks.”

Buffs running back Kavosiey Smoke took to social media to say that he believes the team would have gone undefeated if they didn’t play “selfish ball.’

“Simple fact bru we could’ve went undefeated this year. Too much selfish ball going on man can’t win like that. Gotta play and win as a team but if u go the other route u get results like this,” Smoke said in a now deleted tweeted.
