Even with NFL teams all currently in the midst of their pre-season programs, there is still plenty of uncertainty about the futures of many players.

Players across the league find themselves battling for starting jobs or even roster spots.

Right now that even includes a player who played in the NFL’s most recent Pro Bowl.

Over the last couple of months, there have been plenty of rumors about what the future may hold for Dalvin Cook.

The Vikings have reportedly been looking into trading him throughout the offseason, but have yet to find a trade partner for the veteran running back.

Now the expectation is that the Vikings will just release Cook and the move could reportedly come tomorrow.

That has led to plenty of speculation about where Cook could end up playing next season, with the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins being named as potential suitors and the Jets and Cowboys both reportedly having interest internally about a move.

Today, Cook shared a post on his Instagram story that could indicate where he’s planning to play next season.

The post shows Dalvin Cook celebrating at Hard Rock Stadium, which happens to be the venue that the Miami Dolphins call home.

The Dolphins are the best fit for Dalvin Cook right now of all of the teams that he has been linked with.

While all of the other teams that have shown interest already have somebody that can serve as their clear top running back, the Dolphins currently have an unconvincing committee at the position.

They currently have Jeff Wilson and Raheem Mostert, who have both had injury issues in their careers, returning from last year’s roster.

They already added Devon Achane in the 3rd round of this year’s NFL Draft, but he is a small running back who won’t be expected to be a bell cow back during his career.

Cook would give the team a clear top option at the position and he could be the last piece that the dynamic Dolphins offense needs as they look to make a second consecutive playoff appearance out of a difficult AFC East.

Based on this post from Dalvin Cook, we could soon find out what impact he’d be able to have on the Dolphins offense.
