Dana White is still talking a big game about Power Slap a year after the airing of their first show.

Two weeks after their Super Bowl event, The Sports Business Journal did an expose on White, the Fertittas, and their current business relationship that includes Power Slap among other upstart sports leagues.

In the story, White speaks about how profitable it has been, and the SBJ has sources that say White believes Power Slap could be a billion-dollar company soon.

Power Slap’s revenue streams include more than 20 sponsors and a rights fee from conservative-leaning streaming platform Rumble, which airs Power Slap and several Thrill One properties.

While not providing specific figures, White said Power Slap is already a profitable venture with healthy margins. He said on a podcast appearance last year that Power Slap was a “$450 million business in nine months,” referring to its valuation. White believes it will be valued at $1 billion or more in the near future, according to sources.

White strongly believes that Power Slap could be bigger than the UFC because of the simplicity of the sport, and the social media numbers excite executives who are partnered with him.

“White boldly thinks Power Slap will one day be bigger than UFC because it’s easier to understand and to participate in than MMA

what’s happening on social media excites Power Slap executives the most. The upstart property already has roughly 10.5 million total social media followers, and it’s had hits like a YouTube “Shorts” video that was posted in December and has 252 million views and 6.4 million likes. A video posted by hip hop news outlet XXL Magazine on X from the Durango event showed rapper Travis Scott reacting to a knockout. The post had 102,000 likes and 15,000 reposts, significant numbers by that platform’s standards and ones not often rivaled in sports.”

Power Slap is still a relatively new sport, it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out in a few years.
