The sports world was stopped on Monday night when Buffalo Bills’ safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after suffering cardiac arrest.

A family representative for Damar Hamlin released an update about his current situation. Many figures within the sports world have chimed in like Dr. David J. Chao explaining the on-field medical treatment, and NHL Hall of Famer who suffered a similar incident sending well wishes.

Elsewhere, Buffalo Bills fans discovered Damar Hamlin’s GoFundMe page for the ‘Chasing M’s Foundation Community Toy Drive’. Prior to his collapse, the charity had raised just $2,900. As of the time of publication, his GoFundMe has now raised $4,238,390 and counting with wrestling star Chris Jericho donating $5K.

When the GoFundMe had reached $3.2 million, “Sports Business Reporter” Darren Rovell tweeted this which sparked controversy:

Seeing that tweet and not knowing anything else, it’s reasonable to question why Darren Rovell would tweet this. What could possibly be the reason for a Google Earth photo of the location?

The act of ‘stop tweeting’ does not compute in Darren Rovell’s brain. So he’s started replying to lots and lots and lots of people in his mentions…

‘Why’d you tweet this, Darren?’

Rovell doesn’t even know what a HATER is!

Was that really the point? Was it?

Ah, yes, very true.

Now Darren Rovell is blocking people:

Got ’em:

Translation: Darren Rovell saw Skip Bayless taking heat so he tweeted something else about Damar Hamlin for attention, or at least that’s what this person is implying:

‘You new here?’ Rovell asked a guy whose account says he’s been on Twitter since 2009:

If you would like to find the GoFundMe Page for Damar Hamlin’s Toy Drive you can do so right here.
