DeAndre Hopkins is back at Clemson, sort of. The former Tiger wide receiver has re-enrolled at the university in hopes of completing his degree.

“Nuk” left Clemson following his junior year back in 2012 after notching one of the best seasons in school history. Now, he’s taking online classes from Nashville.

The pass catcher hauled in 18 touchdowns that final season while racking up more than 1,400 receiving yards.

After leaving school, Hopkins became a first-round pick for the Houston Texans where his success on the field continued. He’s tallied 11,403 receiving yards over his 10+ year career while finding the endzone 71 times.

Known for making ridiculous contested catches, he has some of the surest hands in the game.

That being said, he’s likely on the backend of his professional playing days, seeing a notable dip in production over the past three seasons. After recording 1,000-yard campaigns in six of his first eight seasons, he hasn’t hit the 800-yard mark since 2020.

As he begins his first season with the Titans, he’s put education atop his priority list. Upon arriving in Nashville, Hopkins re-enrolled at Clemson and is taking online courses.

This Thursday, he was hilariously seen zooming into an online lecture, immediately going viral on social media.

I mean, imagine sitting in class and you see an NFL player casually strolling around his team locker room.

A number of fans online immediately commented on the zoom appearance, including Nuk himself.

“Ayyy yo!!! Let me live,” the wideout said.

Others were quick follow.

“Professor I need an extension on that homework due Sunday’… ‘Why?’… ‘Turn on NBC,'” this person wrote.

“In this case he’s an ‘athlete student,'” someone else commented.

Congrats to Hopkins for going back for that Clemson degree. Hopefully, he excels on the field and in the classroom this year.
