The Eagles and Jets are playing on Week 6 and it seems the focus is on Jalen Hurts and his Tush-Push play, a move that’s been leaving defenses scratching their heads.

This unique play involves the quarterback sneaking under center on crucial 3rd or 4th down situations and getting a little nudge from his teammates to secure the first down or touchdown.

Eagles fans affectionately refer to it as the “Brotherly Shove,” and it’s gained a reputation for being nearly unstoppable.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh offered a lot of praise the Eagles’ proficiency in running this play and capitalizing on NFL defenses inability to stop it.

During a press conference on a fine Wednesday, Saleh hinted at the Jets’ plan to combat this play. He mentioned that part of their strategy will involve swarming the quarterback when he decides to take the ball into his own hands.

Saleh remarked, “You know, the reality is they’re really good at it, and it feels like the quarterback is wearing a bulletproof vest when you look at him. He’s got all that padding on. We’re gonna do our best to try to stop it… If the quarterback carries the ball, we’ve got to give him 11 kisses.”

Saleh is obviously joking but going with a “kissing” approach is probably as good as any because nothing else has worked to stop the play around the league.
