The four Heisman trophy finalists have been unveiled with conference championship week coming to an end. The quartet of college football players represent some of the sport’s top on-field performers this year.

One person is missing from the group, however, at least according to one fanbase.

Jayden Daniels, Marvin Harrison Jr, Bo Nix, and Michael Penix made the cut.

Florida State supporters are rushing to social media to ask why quarterback Jordan Travis isn’t on the list. This, of course, comes after the Seminoles’ controversial omission from the CFP field.

Despite going 12-0 during the regular season and winning the ACC Championship, FSU was left out of the national title conversation. The College Football Playoff committee ultimately decided that an injury to their starting signal caller makes them a different team.

Florida State went 2-0 without Travis in the lineup, picking up a road win over Florida and a neutral site victory over No. 14 Louisville.

That wouldn’t be enough to convince the committee to give them a title shot as one-loss Texas and Alabama squads were selected instead.

After hearing about how big a role Travis played in the team’s playoff snub, many sarcastically asked why he didn’t receive Heisman consideration.

“Why isn’t Jordan Travis on this list? Why doesn’t he have the award in his hands? It was made very clear on Sunday that he is the most valuable player in the country.”

“Where’s Jordan Travis, the most impactful player in CFB Playoff history?”

“Wait a minute, I think you forgot someone. You must have accidentally forgot about Jordan Travis, right?”

“Weird how the most important player in college football Jordan Travis isn’t there. Must be an oversight.”

Florida State fans are rightfully bitter with the CFP decision, leading to an array of reaction surrounding the Seminoles’ future.

Should they treat their upcoming bowl game like a scrimmage? Or boycott it altogether?

Should they push to leave the ACC?

There are tons of questions in Tallahassee, but few answers to satisfy the fanbase.

For now, there’s an Orange Bowl matchup awaiting with Georgia, then it’s onto 2024 where they’ll look to make an expanded playoff field.
