The Georgia Bulldogs were dealt some devastating news this week after quarterback JT Daniels had to remove himself from practice and isolate. Daily testing is ongoing with increased attention on the players that JT Daniels was in close contact with but the timing of this is precarious for the Bulldogs.

JT Daniels began isolation on December 21st (Tuesday) and the Georgia Bulldogs Football Team face the Michigan Wolverines on December 31st. The NCAA requires a 10-day isolation period which JT Daniels would possibly fulfill but he’s missing those 10 crucial days of practice leading up to the College Football Playoffs Semifinals and it’s nearly unfathomable to think he’d get the nod to start that game now.

Bulldogs QB Stetson Bennett got the start in the SEC Championship game against Alabama. Georgia lost that game 41-24 and Stetson Bennett was 29-for-48 and threw 3 TDs and 2 interceptions. Those INTs led some Georgia fans to think that JT Daniels might get the start against Michigan.

Daniels has a completion % of 72.3% on the season and 7 TDs + 3 INTs. Georgia fans didn’t react well to the news that JT will likely miss the College Football Playoffs Semifinals.

Oh….

Here’s a reminder of what the Georgia Bulldogs will be without against Michigan:

The Georgia Bulldogs are currently 7.5 point favorites over the Michigan Wolverines in the Orange Bowl. But if you were to only look at social media, you’d think the Wolverines were about to blow out the Bulldogs despite being nearly 8 point underdogs.
