Giants head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen are starting to feel the heat as they’re trying to turn around their season, according to NYDaily News’ Pat Leonard.

The current Giants regime is reportedly under pressure to field “a respectable, consistently competitive team.”

Owners John Mara and Steve Tisch have chosen to keep mum amidst a disappointing season that falls far short of the high expectations set for the team. Last year, the Giants made the playoff with a 9-7-1 record and even notched a 31-24 postseason win against the Vikings.

This season however, has been a different story, and the team is down at a 2-7 record, heading towards a potentially historic low for the franchise. The team owners have limits, and a potential 40-0 loss by the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday like the one they suffered on Week 1 of the season could make things even more uncomfortable inside the Giants’ organization.

Adding to the team’s problems is the absence of their highly paid franchise quarterback, Daniel Jones, who is sidelined for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Things just don’t look good right now for the Giants and their current front office and coaches.
