This week, the football world shifted its attention to the NFL Combine after the best players in college football descended upon Indianapolis to show off their skills, chat with teams, and (in the case of anyone who had a meeting with the Eagles), shoot basketball into a tiny hoop.

The real action officially kicked off on Thursday shortly after Kenny Pickett’s tiny hands became a hot topic of discussion, as quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends spent the second half of the day engaging in the various drills scouts rely on to evaluate their talent.

NFL Network has set up shop in Lucas Oil Stadium to broadcast the action to the masses, and at one point in the evening, Daniel Jeremiah and Rich Eisen were joined by Giovanni Hamilton, a 14-year-old Eagles superfan who hasn’t let the rare genetic disease he’s spent his life battling prevent him from becoming an online sensation with a long-running podcast.

During the segment, Gio was encouraged to deliver a message to Eagles general manager Howie Roseman about how to approach the upcoming draft, and it’s safe to say he took full advantage.

After encouraging the front office to give Jalen Hurts some help by snagging wide receivers, Hamilton turned his attention to the linebackers he lobbied for with a hilariously impassioned plea, saying “Please Howie, for the love of god, get us some linebackers.”

It doesn’t get much more Philly than that.
