Watch High School Students Storm The Court And Drop The Opposing Team’s Mascot After He Disrespected Theirs

First off, this could very well be the most lit high school crowd I’ve witnessed, sans assaulting a mascot. The sold-out crowd, the choreographed chants, the professional showmanship of the mascots. And to think that this incident occurred in Idaho is baffling to me. I had no idea the entire population of Idaho could fill a high school gym, but, like most assumptions I make, I was incorrect.

According to the Idaho State Journal,

The incident occurred between the end of the third quarter and start of the fourth quarter during the boys basketball 5A District 5-6 championship game between Rexburg’s Madison Bobcats and Pocatello’s Highland Rams.

What I love most about the entire thing is that only one student was ushered out by police, but was later allowed to return. Idaho knows whats up. They know that emotions run high in a tournament game and that sometimes you just gotta assault a mascot every now and then in between eating potatoes. In a world of overreaction, Idaho is leading the “no blood, no foul” charge and I love every bit of it.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
