Johnny Football is baaaaaaaaack.

Well, maybe. Probably.

After being away from football for almost two full years, Johnny Manziel got bored. As a result, he decided to participate in the inaugural season of the Fan Controlled Football League and absolutely tore it up.

Not only did he break out a dazzling run on his first snap from scrimmage, but it looked like he was playing a video game.

Manziel put the ball on the money.

And he even put on a show with his feet and scrambling abilities like he did in college.

Now, as the league gears up for its second season, Manziel is reportedly set to return. According to TMZ Sports, the former Heisman Trophy winner is in talks with the FCFL to come back in 2022 and is expected to be on the field for at least a few games.

Last season, the 29-year-old quarterback played for that Zappers. That would apparently not be the case this season.

Earlier this year, internet comedian and personality Druski became an owner of the Wild Aces. Manziel is good friends with Druski.

Should Manziel come to an agreement with the FCFL, he says that he would play for his friend’s team. He posted about it on Instagram on Friday, making it clear that is the only way that he would come out of retirement, saying “only coming out of retirement for @Druski2Funny and Shoulda Been Athletics.”
