As Jordan Addison’s transfer decision continues to loom, there is a lot of speculation about where he will end up. His most recent Instagram follow might be an indication.

At the end of April, a report surfaced about the 2021 Biletnikoff Award winner that set off a wild chain reaction. According to the report, Addison was set to transfer from Pittsburgh to USC on a massive NIL deal.

Shortly thereafter, the 20-year-old wide receiver officially entered the transfer portal. Considering that he has already turned down a high-six figure deal to transfer to an SEC East program, an expensive bidding war is expected to unfold.

Addison lost his quarterback, offensive coordinator and positions coach from a year ago at Pittsburgh. Wherever he ends up transferring will offer him the best opportunity (in his eyes) for success, and it will have to be the right fit from a staff standpoint.

However, there will almost certainly be some level of finances involved.

The program that makes the most sense logistically and can offer the most money through its boosters will be the school at which Jordan Addison ends up.

Addison’s list of suitors is pretty lengthy. Of them, USC, Alabama and Texas appear to be the top three teams with a chance.

As things currently stand, Addison is in Southern California— but he is working out with Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. That could mean he ends up with the Trojans or the Crimson Tide, or it could mean nothing.

In addition to the workout speculation, Pittsburgh appeared to rule out a return. USC quarterback Caleb Williams also made his pitch public, and infuriated Oklahoma fans in the process.

The overwhelming belief is that Addison will end up in Los Angeles when it is all said and done. His most recent Instagram follow might indicate that to be true.

Not long after his name officially entered the portal, Addison followed quarterback Malachi Nelson. Nelson is a five-star quarterback in the Class of 2023 who was headed to Oklahoma and then flipped his commitment when Lincoln Riley took the job at USC.

Nelson will be on campus this summer and will be a freshman in the fall. Although he will not start, because Williams is the guy, for Addison to follow an incoming quarterback at a school his considering is something to keep an eye on.
