Kelly Stafford has spent close to three years working on a podcast she pumps out on a regular basis, and while it seems to be a pretty successful project, it sounds like it took her a while to see a return on her investment based on what she had to say about Entourage star Kevin Connolly.

In 2021, Kelly Stafford teamed up with longtime friend (and Detroit newscaster) Hank Winchester to create The Morning After, a podcast that she’s routinely used to shed some light on her relationship with her husband Matt while chronicling the trials and tribulations of being married to a high-profile NFL quarterback.

The show has helped her make her fair share of headlines over the past couple of seasons, as she’s used it to discuss the emotional toll that comes with watching a spouse succumb to a concussion and also generated some minor controversy by asserting Lions fans harassed her and her children during their return to Detroit for last year’s wild card matchup.

Now, Stafford’s podcast is making headlines in a different way courtesy of some DMs she sent to Barstool personality Jersey Jerry, who recently revealed he has a mortal enemy in the form of Kevin Connolly (best known for playing “E” on Entourage) due to how the actor allegedly handled a podcast deal that fell apart.

In 2020, Connolly launched ActionPark Media, a company “specializing in podcast creation & distribution.”

Stafford to Jerry she linked up with the brand the same season Matt led the Rams to a victory in Super Bowl LVI but asserted she was “paid absolutely nothing” despite bringing in what was presumably a solid chunk of revenue via sought-after merch and sold-out live shows on top of any advertising revenue the show was able to generate.

We’re obviously only getting her side of the story here, and it does seem like there’s a chance Stafford failed to do her due diligence before signing what was presumably a wildly unfavorable contract. Jerry claims she isn’t the only person who reached out to him to share a similar tale, so this could just be the tip of the iceberg (especially when you consider she implied Connolly deserves to be in jail).

She also added Matt “wants to beat his a–,” so Connolly might want to keep his head on a swivel when he’s making his way around Los Angeles.
