While Dallas Mavericks guard Klay Thompson as gotten off to a rocky start on-the-court this season, he seems to have it all figured out off the court, as the four time NBA champion started dating rapper Megan Thee Stallion earlier this year.
During the Dallas Mavericks’ season-opening 125-92 loss to Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs, Klay Thompson played 22 minutes and had 10 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist.
After the game, the former Golden State Warriors staple was seen leaving the arena with his girlfriend Megan Thee Stallion, with a video of the pair going viral, as the popular post claimed that she rested her head on his shoulder to non-verbally tell him “Let’s get out of here.”

Megan Thee Stallion also proudly posted pictures of the pair walking into the arena on social media, captioning the photos “Lover Girl,” which is also the title of her new single. In “Lover Girl,” Stallion raps about Thompson, saying: “My n—- say, ‘My lady’, he never say, ‘My b—-‘ Some n—– make excuses, he make that s– exist.”
Thompson and Meghan Thee Stallion began dating earlier this year, as they made their relationship public in July 2025.
