Back in 2010, LeBron James famously became a free agent for the first time and signed with the Miami Heat.

Prior to James’ infamous “The Decision,” in which he revealed in a nationally televised program that he was “taking his talents to South Beach” to join forces with fellow All-Stars Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

Before James ultimately decided to sign with the Heat, he was recruited by a bevy of NBA franchises such as the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, and his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Knicks had a particularly notable pitch to LeBron, as they recruited The Sopranos stars Edie Falco and the late James Gandolfini to shoot an in-character bit in which they’re looking for a place for LeBron to live.

And now, almost 15 years later, that footage has finally been revealed courtesy of Pablo Torre. The video below has been queued up to begin when Torre and his co-hosts begin discussing the footage.

LeBron would ultimately spurn the Cavs and the Knicks by signing with the Miami Heat, where he’d play in four NBA finals and win his first two NBA titles. He then returned to Cleveland for a few years, winning a third championship in 2016 before landing with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2018, where he’s been since and won a title in 2020.
