As the offseason approaches the LA Lakers front office appears to be letting other teams know that they are open for business and are willing to trade any of their young players if the price is right.

As the Lakers head into a potentially franchise-changing offseason, their front office is keeping its options fully open.
While they like their young core and would prefer to keep those players growing together, they have told teams no player is untouchable in trades, according to multiple sources who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of trade and free-agent negotiations.
To be clear, the Lakers are not actively shopping any of their players. They are willing to listen to offers and could move one of them — even a member of the talented young cadre of Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram or Josh Hart — if an offer blows them away.
While LeBron James and Paul George are the two big free agent names on the market this offseason, the Lakers could make a push to trade for either DeMarcus Cousins or Kawhi Leonard. Both Kawhi and Cousins are currently unhappy with their teams and appear to be forcing trades to get out of their current situations. We’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for the Lakers but there’s no doubt that they’re in an excellent position to make things happen this offseason.
