Lamar Jackson Calls Out Salty Bettors Mad About His Stats In Blowout Win Over Bills

Lamar Jackson had a fairly quiet night (at least by his standards) during a game where the Ravens still walked away with a decisive win over the Bills, and the QB became the latest pro athlete to let sports bettors know he could not care less about whether or not he helped them cash in.

The Baltimore Ravens were listed as 2.5-point favorites to beat the undefeated Bills on Sunday night despite heading into the contest with a 1-2 record, and they were more than able to cover the spread by jumping out to an early lead and never looking back while coasting to the 35-10 victory.

Derrick Henry was easily the star of the show while rushing for 199 yards with the help of the 87-yard run he took to the house on the first play of Baltimore’s opening drive.

Lamar Jackson also threw a couple of touchdowns while recording 54 yards on the ground, but the quarterback who’d averaged 234 yards in the air over the course of his first three games only posted 156 in that category by the time the final whistle blew.

That was a frustrating development for sports bettors who were hoping Jackson would be able to hit the over on an individual player prop that predicted he’d throw for around 200 yards when everything was said and done.

It would appear more than a few people jumped into his mentions to air their grievances based on the message Jackson shared on Monday morning, as he made it very clear individual stats are not his primary concern while calling out people who go out of their way to target him and other players when their bets fail to hit.

Jackson isn’t the first notable name to share that particular sentiment (Draymond Green went the same route last year), and he probably isn’t going to be the last based on a trend that’s become impossible to ignore as sports betting continues to permeate every major sport.
