Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has been one of the best players in the NFL this year. He’s got a real shot at the all-time single-season rushing record, and his repeated long touchdown runs are a huge reason for that.
Saquon Barkley popped another long touchdown run on Sunday against the Washington Commanders. And, it earned him a shoutout from Lebron James.
Barkley entered Sunday’s game with 1688 rushing yards, needing an average of 139 yards in the final three games of the season to break Eric Dickerson’s all-time single-season record of 2,105. This early long touchdown against the Commanders on Sunday went a big way towards getting that record. Take a look.

That’s yet another long touchdown run for Saquon Barkley. And, while he did show great breakaway speed and made a solid cut, you’ve got to give credit to the Philadelphia offensive line. Mekhi Becton makes a great block on the pull, and reserve tight end CJ Uzomah gets to the second level with another crucial block.
After the run, Saquon Barkley got a shout-out from LeBron, who is seemingly as big of an NFL fan as anybody.

If you’re getting shout-outs from Lebron, you know you’ve done something electric.
