Back in 2010 Lebron teamed up with two future hall-of-famers in Dwyane Wade and Chris to form the “Big 3” era in Miami which many considered a “super team”. Remember, LeBron proclaimed that the Heat were going to win not one, not two, not three, not four,not five, not six,not seven championships.
Then in when he returned to Cleveland in 2014 LeBron teamed up all-stars Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.
When asked about the “super team” concept tonight after the Cavs loss in the NBA finals, LeBron vehemently denied that he had ever played on a “super team” and that this year’s Cavs squad, despite being insanely stacked, wasn’t one.
