Mac Jones is going viral this weekend for his love of Taylor Swift. The New England Patriots passer was spotted at a concert in Gillette Stadium on Saturday.

Photos of Jones’ appearance at the show are now circulating on social media, leading to a huge response from football fans.

Jones struggled this season, leading his team to an 8-9 overall record. The mark was New England’s second losing campaign over the last three years, which has many questioning whether or not the former first-round pick is the answer under center.

The Patriots saw a bit of a revolving door at the position last year, with Jones, Bailey Zappe, and Brian Hoyer taking snaps at quarterback. Some of that was due to production, some had more to do with injury.

Jones missed time with an ankle injury, while also seeing a considerable downturn in performance in Year 2. The Alabama alum threw 14 touchdowns compared to 11 picks and had an eight-point dip in QBR.

To make things worse, reports of a falling out with coaches and players have caused doubts about his long-term future with the team.

Some said the passer despised his QB coach while others believe he’s lost support within the organization. His name has even come up in trade discussions.

While he’s apparently losing the support of many on the field, his latest appearance at Gillette Stadium won him over some followers.

Mac Jones was spotted in the crowd at a Taylor Swift concert, immediately sparking a reaction from Patriots’ fans.
