The international Olympic Committee has given its nod to flag football, making it an official sport for the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Now several NFL stars have thrown their hats into the ring, expressing keen interest in being a part of flag football’s Olympic debut.

Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski are among the athletes who have said they want to join the sport. Parsons, in particular, has been vocal about building a Superteam comprising NFL players for the event.

Now Ravens Pro Bowl cornerback Marlon Humphrey is also expressing interest in joining the event. Humphrey discussed potential team members on his Punch Line podcast. He considered players like Dolphins running backs Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane, as well as wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, but didn’t pick them.

After careful consideration, he revealed his dream squad: Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Browns wide receiver Marquise Goodwin, Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, Giants running back Saquon Barkley, and tight end Darren Waller.

Not stopping there, Humphrey added the the type of cornerback like the Raiders’ Marcus Peters would fit well on the defensive side because he’s gets a lot of picks. He also mentioned Dolphins’ Xavien Howard and Cowboys’ Trevon Diggs as good fits.

It looks like Humphrey has his team ready for the Olympics.
