Two Dudes Go Head To Head In ‘Most Pull Ups In 60 Seconds’ World Record Attempt

Prior to this Guinness World Record attempt by Tazio Gavioli from Italy and Bulgaria’s Boris Nalbantov, the world record for ‘most pull ups in 60 seconds’ was set by American Adam Sandel in Brookline, Massachusetts last December (Dec 16, 2016). This is one of the most competitive world records that Guinness World Records keeps track of, so when they had two guys with the potential to break the record they set up this head to head challenge.

Italy’s Tazio Gavioli went first, and I’ll be honest, his attempt just pisses me off. He recognizes that all he needs to do is get his chin to the bar. I don’t think it’s fair to call that bullshit he was doing actual pull ups. Bulgaria’s Boris Nalbantov was doing actual pull ups. Thankfully, he is the one who set the record.

This Guinness World Record attempt for ‘most pull ups in 60 seconds’ was actually filmed back on June 17th, 2017. When the dust had settled, Boris Nalbantov of Bulgaria was the new world record holder after he busted out an astounding 54 pull ups in just 60 seconds. I can’t even really wrap my mind around training for something like this but I can sit back and be impressed.
