The NFL has been pondering what to do with the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals game since the Damar Hamlin incident.
With Hamlin recovering, the league has finally made up its mind about what to do with this game.
According to Rob Maaddi, the NFL has decided to not resume the Bills-Bengals game. Neither team will receive a win or loss for the matchup. As of this writing, it is unknown how the league will handle the playoff seeding. However, there are numerous options on the table.

This final decision might be for the best. Especially considering it saves the NFL from making scheduling changes for the postseason. It will be interesting to see what the league will do with the playoff seeding, specifically for the AFC.
On the other hand, there is a slight chance the NFL has yet to make a final decision, per Jay Skurski, a beat reporter for the Bills. He claims”no decisions have been made” according to his sources.

There seems to be a bit of a media war going on, as journalists are jockeying to be the first to report the news. We’ll see how it plays out, but from the sounds of it, the Bills and Bengals game will not resume. If that’s the case, then an announcement will surely be made about what the NFL is going to do with the playoff seeding.
