The infamous ‘Tush-Push’ move, affectionately dubbed the ‘Brotherly Shove’ in Philadelphia Eagles circles, has stirred quite the controversy this season.

This signature play of the Eagles, which they execute to perfection, has piqued the interest of the competition committee.

Both the NFL and the NFLPA are set to delve into the injury data linked to this maneuver during the customary off-season analysis, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The scrutiny intensified after two Giants players fell victim to the ‘Tush-Push’ spectacle during Monday night’s game against the Seahawks.

The play will be a key talking point in the upcoming off-season discussions, mirroring last year’s debates.

However, Schefter says that as far as the 2023 season, the ‘Tush-Push’/’Brotherly Shove’ play isn’t going anywhere.

So far this season, there have been a whopping 36 attempts in just four weeks, a stark contrast from the meager five attempts recorded at the same point in 2022, per ESPN, the outcomes have been diverse, with four teams failing in their sole attempt. The overall success rate of the play stands at 81%, which makes it a very hard play to stop.

Have to wonder what the Eagles will do if the league bans the play for next season.
