Record 9 Women Will Serve As Full-Time Coaches In The NFL For The 2023 Season

The NFL is breaking barriers and making history with a remarkable increase in the number of female coaches for the upcoming 2023 season.

With an inspiring total of nine women set to serve as full-time coaches, the league is experiencing a 25 percent rise compared to the previous year, signaling a significant step forward for female inclusion in coaching roles.

In the 2023 season, the spotlight falls on the Baltimore Ravens, who currently boast the highest number of female coaches on their staff with three.

Megan Rosburg, Kaelyn Buskey, and Mariana Salas, are set to contribute significantly to the Ravens’ coaching lineup. Kaelyn Buskey’s position is as the assistant strength and conditioning coach, Megan Rosburg’s role is as the assistant to the head coach, Kand Mariana Salas is part of coaching research.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to lead by example, with Maral Javadifar set to return as the director of rehabilitation and performance coaching for the 2023 season.

Joining the Cleveland Browns’ coaching ranks is Riley Hecklinski, who brings three years of experience as a scouting assistant to her new role as the coordinator of coaching logistics. Additionally Callie Brownson serves as assistant wide receiver coach, she’s been with the team since 2020.

Jennifer King will serve as the assistant running backs coach for the Washington Commanders.

Angela Baker will help as the offensive assistant for the New York Giants.

Lori Locust will take on the role of defensive quality control coach for the Tennessee Titans.

Elizabeth Harrison will serve as the head football coach’s assistant for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Finally, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to lead by example, with Maral Javadifar set to return as the director of rehabilitation and performance coaching for the 2023 season.
