“On Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:30am golf legends Paige Spiranac and John Daly will go toe-to-toe on the Gary Player Course in Destination Geneva National’s Beauty vs. the Beast Celebrity Charity Match.”

That’s what it says on Geneva National Resort & Club’s website.

Sadly for those that purchased tickets to the charity event for $15 to $105 (with another $155 for the VIP reception), John Daly failed to show up.

“Today was supposed to be my match against John Daly,” Paige Spiranac wrote on Twitter on Monday. “When he didn’t show, Jerry Kelly filled in. Jerry made 10 birdies and 2 eagles today. It was the greatest round of golf I’ve ever witnessed. We raised a ton of money for charity and I’m not too mad with the 66 I shot. What a great day at Geneva National!”

In John Daly’s defense, Paige also noted on Twitter, “Was told at 8 am the day of the event which started at 10:30 am he couldn’t come or even ride around because of an injury. Hope he has a speedy recovery.”

On the plus side for those that attended the event, “Paige’s Par-Tee” appeared to go off without a hitch a day prior to the event.

“The world’s #1 golf influencer will take over The Ridge Hotel’s outdoor saltwater pool & Deck Bar on Sunday, June 4th while hosting the hottest pool party in Lake Geneva,” read the site’s description of the party. “Sponsored by Hooters Restaurant, this summer shindig will feature a cookout with Hooters famous wings and other menu faves, Milwaukee’s own DJ BG GooD dropping the beat, a flashy photo wall, and cash bar.”

On Tuesday, Spiranac shared several photos from her Golf Digest cover story that definitely caused a stir amongst her many fans.

She also had a few funny comments about the bizarre and very unexpected merger of the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.

Which one is LIV Golf? It’s got to be Tom, right?

Meanwhile, over on TikTok…
