Popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac, who was recently credited with saving a Major League Baseball team’s season, just shared how to hit a fade golf shot in a new TikTok video.
That’s right. Paige Spiranac “saved” the Milwaukee Brewers’ season… at least according to Wisconsin radio host Grant Bilse.
“Brewers fans owe Paige Spiranac a great debt,” Bilse recently told the New York Post. “When the season was bleakest in April and May, her bobblehead night became a beacon on the horizon — something fans could look forward to.
“But by the time the day arrived, Brewers fans had actually become genuinely excited to welcome Paige to Milwaukee. Golf Night 2023 almost became a second opening day … a new beginning for a season that had taken a turn for the better.”
Well… he is right about a couple of things.
On June 16, the night Paige Spiranac threw out the first pitch on her bobblehead night, the Brewers were sitting at 34-34, one game back in the National League Central.
Since that night, Milwaukee went 58-36 to finish nine games up in winning the NL Central. So maybe there is something to what he is saying.

Anyhoo, whether Paige Spiranac had anything to do with the Brewers’ resurgence can sure be debated, but there’s no debating the woman knows her golf as she has shown in numerous instructional videos.
In her latest TikTok effort, Paige shows her viewers how to hit a fade.
“First, open your club face, open your stance, then open your shoulders,” Spiranac explains.
“Instead of coming down on your normal swing path, I want you to feel as though you’re coming slightly over the top. And through impact your hands are going to go toward your left pocket, while you club face stays out to right, instead of turning it over as you would for a draw. So hands go left, club head goes right and you just follow through.”
