Robert Kraft extended an awesome gesture to a Patriots fan that made the trip to Las Vegas last weekend. Videos of the supporter being berated by an obnoxious Raiders fan have surfaced online.

The fan is seen taking a verbal beating from the person standing next to him, who apparently thinks that opposing fans aren’t allowed in “her stadium.” As if the ending of the brutal loss wasn’t bad enough, the chirping from this woman had to make it 10x worse.

Still, he remained calm at a time when most wouldn’t.

For those who may have forgotten, this was the game where New England wide receiver Jakobi Meyers made maybe the most boneheaded blunder in NFL history, which led to a Raiders score as time expired. This Raiders fan took it upon herself to harass the Patriots supporter for simply cheering on his team.

After seeing the video go viral, that fan, Jerry Edmond, responded on social media.

I’d like to thank everyone for all the kind words… That was my first ever NFL game. I didn’t want to ruin my experience by retaliating towards that woman, so I kept my cool.

Knowing that this happened at the first NFL game he’s ever attended makes it even more painful to watch. But have no fear, the young fan will soon be in Gillette Stadium cheering on his Patriots once again.

Robert Kraft gifted Edmond entry to this weekend’s matchup against Joe Burrow and the Bengals. After seeing the clips, Kraft decided it best to give him field access for pregame warmups, too.

The New England owner left a voicemail with Edmond to praise him for keeping his cool.

“Hey Jerry, this is Robert Kraft… Wanted to let you know that you represented the brand in a very classy way… I heard that was your first Patriots game.”

He then let him know about the upcoming game, which Edmond talked a bit more about in an interview with Amy Dash of League of Justice Sports.

Seems like a surreal moment for young Patriots fan, and it shows that patience pays in these situations.
