Can Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll get any more petty? First, the Seattle Seahawks head coach praised Geno Smith for wearing a wristband that consists of plays, per Pro Football Talk. Then, the Denver Broncos quarterback responded with a petty comment of his own. However, the story takes a turn when low and behold, Wilson is seen wearing a wristband.

Russell Wilson Seen Wearing Wristband Pete Carroll Was Being Petty About

Almost immediately after Carroll praised Smith for wearing the wristband, Wilson responded with, “won a lot of games without one on the wrist,” according to Zac Stevens. It’s a silly, stupid, and completely petty back-and-forth between the two.

Regardless, Mike Klis shares a shot of Russell Wilson being seen wearing the damn wristband Pete Carroll is being so petty about. What in the world is going on with these two?

Maybe the Broncos quarterback wore it on purpose to irk Pete Carroll. Or perhaps Russell Wilson wasn’t even thinking about it. Who really knows at this point? Either way, this is sure to get under Carroll’s skin.

At the end of the day, these two won a Super Bowl together when Wilson was on the Seahawks. For that reason, it’s odd to see these two at such odds. Over a stupid wristband of all things. Oh well, right now Pete Carroll has the last laugh as Seattle currently has a better record than the Broncos.
