The 2013 NBA Draft class is widely considered one of the weakest in the history of the league to a point where most teams wouldn’t have benefited too much from a do-over based on how the vast majority of the players selected saw their careers pan (or, more accurately, fizzle) out.

However, if the Timberwolves could go back in time, there’s a very good chance they would scoop up Giannis Antetokounmpo instead of the guy they went with, as the Greek Freak was snagged by the Bucks directly after Minnesota opted to claim Shabazz Muhammad with the 14th overall pick.

Antetokounmpo has gone on to win two MVP awards in addition to the one he snagged in the NBA Finals after leading the Bucks to a championship last year, while Muhammad saw his NBA career come to an end after five underwhelming seasons.

Muhammad went on to play pro ball in China before mounting a failed G League comeback last year, and he’s now found himself in the Philippines as a member of the San Miguel Beermen.

So how has that been working out for him? Well, Muhammad has posted a double-double in each of his first two games, and while he was able to rack up 33 points in his second game with that squad, that number could’ve been 35 if he hadn’t managed to blow one wide-open dunk attempt in truly spectacular fashion.

On the bright side, Muhammad got a shot at redemption a few plays later and was able to cash in by throwing down a slam he delivered with two hands for a bit of insurance.

The Beermen also walked away with a win, so at least it all worked out in the end.
