First-year LSU head coach Brian Kelly continues to be the butt of jokes on social media. Since arriving to Baton Rouge this offseason, we’ve seen the former Notre Dame leader give a bizarre goodbye to his Irish players, become the uncharacteristic “family” man, and develop a thick Southern accent upon landing in Louisiana.

Now, he’s continuing to make headlines by producing a series of recruiting videos that feature his far from rhythmic dance moves. The latest was released over the weekend during the hosting of three-star tight end prospect Danny Lewis, Jr. Check out the cringeworthy clip below.

Social media has unsurprisingly run with the video, providing us with a bevy of hilarious reactions.

The videos are hard to watch without at least chuckling. Kelly’s awkward moves and phony “hip” personality make the head coach seem so far out of place, it’s hard to see recruits relating. But, as long as prospects continue sharing the cringy clips, the Tigers’ athletic department is sure to keep producing them.

Kelly went 113-40 over 12 seasons in South Bend. He and Notre Dame landed an appearance in the BCS Championship Game in 2012, as well as a pair of College Football Playoff invites over the last four years. Now, he’ll try to get LSU back to its first title game since the Tigers won it all in 2019.

As long as the recruits continue to commit, these awkward clips of Kelly dancing will continue to roll in. But hey, at least the media reactions should keep us all entertained throughout the offseason.
