During a recent Cricket match between the Paarl Royals and MI Cape Town, a Cricket fan saw herself on the jumbotron and seized the opportunity to go viral.
Upon seeing herself on the big screen, she first downed what appeared to be either a full glass of red wine or a mixed drink, possibly an imperial stout. Then when the camera didn’t move off her she snatched a beer from the gentleman sitting next to her and chugged that as the crowd continued to cheer her on.
The clip has racked up over 1.5 million views on TikTok and another 2.7 million views on X:

For those wondering, the Paarl Royals emerged victorious over MI Cape Town. They won 162/3 (20) to 103 (18.2), winning by 59 runs at the Eurolux Boland Park in Paarl, South Africa which is about an hour and a half drive from Cape Town.
Crickets Fans Love Chugging
We don’t cover the sport of Cricket too often here on BroBible but when we do it seems as if it’s always related to the fans and not the sport itself. One of the last articles about Cricket was also about a fan chugging beers. Not one, not two, not three, but FOUR beers were downed:

There’s just something about the game of Cricket that pairs well with drinking. Test matches can easily last over 6 hours lending plenty of time for fans to get after it. But with matches taking that long it’s no wonder the sport has never taken off in the United States where we like our games 3 hours or under.
