Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada and Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael find themselves under scrutiny as their teams struggle to ignite their offenses this season.

According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, if these offensive struggles persist, their coaching seats could become uncomfortably hot.

Both coordinators have received public support from their respective head coaches, but behind the scenes, concerns are brewing.

The Steelers have been averaging just 15.5 points per game this season, which places them at the 25th spot in the NFL’s scoring charts. They are among the unlucky few, alongside three other teams, to have multiple games with fewer than 10 points.

Their total offensive yardage ranks a disappointing 29th in the league.

The Saints share a similar predicament, also averaging a mere 15.5 points per game. They’ve managed to score 20 points or less in every game this season. They’re basically wasting their excellent defense, who have held teams to 20 or less points in all but one game this season on their side.

Today today the Saints play the Patriots and the Steelers play the Ravens – those offenses need to step up or changes will eventually get made.
