I Got A Hangover Just Watching These Videos Of Team Europe Celebrating Its Ryder Cup Win

The 2018 Ryder Cup wrapped up last weekend and it’s safe to say things did not go well for the American team, which fell victim to an impressive amount of infighting during the competition and beyond.

Patrick Reed pulled a classic Patrick Reed by ripping into Jordan Spieth after the tournament, which resulted in very sharp rebuttal from one of his teammates.

There was also the case of Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka, who reportedly tried to throw blows at each other (a claim that Koepka was quick to deny).

Lost in the commotion was the stellar performance of Team Europe, who got off to a scorching start and never looked back on their way to winning the tournament by a score of 17.5-10.5.

The Ryder Cup is golf’s version of Lord Stanley’s trophy, and while you might not be able to do keg stands out of it, it’s still the perfect vehicle for getting your drink on.

For The Win rounded up a few videos of the festivities and I think it’s safe to say the Europeans had a pretty good time when it came to celebrating the win.

If you need some proof attesting to just how hard the Europeans went, you don’t have to look any further than this A+ line from Tyrrell Hatton, who was not shy about admitting things got a little bit out of hand.

If you can’t watch the video, here’s the full quote:

“Sunday night was messy. I got back into my room at four in the morning. And always a sign of a good night is when you fall asleep next to the toilet.”

I guess that sometimes your worst nights are also your best.

I’d like to send my thoughts and prayers out to the livers who bore the brunt of the blow.

They’re the real MVP.
