The Patriots And The Bears Started A Fight At A Joint Practice Presumably To Create Hype For Their Game Thursday Night

The Patriots and the Bears are two powderkegs ready to pop this year. For a bunch of reason. The Patriots are butthurt about Tom Brady’s four-game suspension and are probably (and rightly) looking for anyone to take it out on. The Bears have finally taken off the kid gloves and are ready to face fuck their competition this year, as evident by their training camp regime of dodging yoga balls. It’s kind of like when two boxers who have so much to prove meet in the ring. Except boxers have a lot of training in how not to lose their cool and professional football players don’t really. Hence why a fight broke out during a joint practice between the two teams ahead of their preseason matchup on Thursday.

This is why I love America. Only in the greatest country in the world can professional athletes be applauded for getting into an unnecessary physical altercation during a glorified walk-through. “Bite his dick off” is something I imagine at least two of these fans yelled, mostly because I definitely would have yelled something similar. Maybe I’m projecting the darker parts of my own psyche onto others. Regardless, I really don’t understand what this fight is possibly accomplishing. They just kind of shoved each other for a few seconds before things got broken up. Kind of like when two dudes are just throw hands but not really and yell at their boys to “Hold me back” so they don’t actually have to fight. Maybe they’ll finish what they started on Thursday night, but doubtful.
