The Las Vegas Raiders surprisingly benched Derek Carr and nobody is sure what his future holds. Simultaneously, many are speculating that Tom Brady will return next season.

With offseason buzz starting early this year, many are already speculating that Vegas is the perfect landing spot for Tom Brady in 2023 and potentially beyond.

According to The Athletic, the Raiders seem like the perfect destination for Tom Brady to continue his career. That is, assuming he doesn’t retire at the conclusion of this season. Regardless, there seems to be a lot going for Las Vegas if they hope to sign the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

His ties with Josh McDaniels allow Tom Brady to quickly learn a playbook instead of learning a completely new one. “It would only be natural for Brady to gravitate toward the one led by McDaniels. This would also mitigate the idea of starting over as a 46-year-old because Brady would be so familiar with his longtime friend’s way of doing business.”

In addition to that, the Raiders have the personnel that could entice the superstar quarterback, per The Athletic. “Brady and Davante Adams would be a dominant duo. Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow can command the middle of the field, which is an element the Bucs have lacked this season.” Add onto the possibility of Rob Gronkowski coming out of retirement along with Josh Jacobs re-signing with Vegas, you have yourself a championship contender on offense.

The rest of the offseason would be rather easy for the Raiders. Between having solid draft capital and enough cap space to sign anyone they need, Las Vegas could quickly turn things around with Tom Brady at the helm.

So, rumors and speculation between Brady and the Raiders will likely continue to grow. With everything considered, you have to think Las Vegas is a possible landing spot for Tom Brady if he doesn’t retire. However, they’ll have some competition, as the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots, and New Orleans Saints each make a strong case as well.
