While Jose Ramirez was walking up for his first at-bat for the Cleveland Guardians, the Minnesota Twins took the opportunity to troll the star third baseman.

And they did it perfectly by referencing Ramirez’s wild brawl with the Chicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson.

It wasn’t that long ago when the Guardians star knocked Anderson out with a clean right overhand. Even days later after the altercation, Miguel Cabrera teased Jose Ramirez by pretending to box him while accepting a retirement gift.

With that in mind, the Twins didn’t let Jose Ramirez, as they trolled him in the best way possible by using the Jumbotron.

Aaron Rupar shared a clear image of Jose Ramirez’s introduction at the Twins game.

“Currently 1-0 with a 1st round TKO of Tim Anderson and a no-decision against Miguel Cabrera.”

Chef’s kiss. Just a remarkable troll job from the Twins. Luckily they got the win over the Guardians on Monday night, otherwise, that troll job wouldn’t have aged too well.

Ramirez’s fight with Anderson might be the most exciting baseball brawl we’ve seen since Rougned Odor landed a clean shot to Jose Bautista’s face back in 2016.

For that reason, Ramirez will always be remembered for knocking out Tim Anderson. He’ll be remembered for being one of the best switch hitters in the league too. But that knockout certainly will never be forgotten.

Eventually, another brawl will take over. But as of right now, it’s one of the peak moments of the 2023 MLB season.
