The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada this Saturday for the first time this year! It’s one you won’t want to miss, as UFC 272 features a highly anticipated Welterweight matchup between Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal.
It’s a friends-turned-enemies matchup in the main event with No. 1-ranked Colby Covington looking to bounce back following a defeat to Kamaru Usman during UFC 268. Former teammate and No. 6 ranked Jorge Masvidal is also coming off two defeats to the division champion, most recently falling via knockout during UFC 261.
While Covington and Masvidal will finally settle their ugly rivalry this weekend, the matchup is just one of the several important storylines that will pan out at UFC 272. The co-main event features a Catchweight bout between former Lightweight champion and No. 6-ranked Rafael dos Anjos and short-notice replacement Renato Moicano, who most recently won during UFC 271.
