Mallory Edens, the daughter of billionaire Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Eden, has found herself in the news again.
Rumors of the 26-year-old NBA heiress dating longtime Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, 39, have been swirling for a few months now.
She and Rodgers were spotted sitting together at a Milwaukee Bucks game back in December, which is not unusual. Rodgers has attended several Bucks games over the years as a guest of the Edens family.
Then in January, Mallory Edens was at the Packers’ final game of the season cheering on the QB. Again, not unusual considering who she and her family are.
Despite rampant speculation, whether Edens and Rodgers are actually dating has yet to be officially confirmed or denied by either of them. This too is not unusual for someone like them, especially Aaron Rodgers who kept his relationship with Shailene Woodley a secret for months before shockingly announcing they were engaged.
However, there was a story published by People in January in which a source told the publication, “It’s more than friends, but it’s casual. Nothing serious at all. He’s not looking to rush into anything. It’s low-key for now.
“But it’s definitely a very close friendship that is evolving,” the source added. “He’s not going to do something as quick as Shailene. Live and learn.”
So who is Mallory Edens, exactly?
Well, as many NBA fans will recall, she first caught the internet’s eye almost a decade when the then 18-year-old was tasked with representing the Milwaukee Bucks on stage at the NBA draft lottery.
She hadn’t even graduated from high school yet, but as Bill Simmons put it at the time, “The Cavs won the lottery and Mallory Edens won the internet.”

Here’s a quote from the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel following the 2014 NBA draft lottery: “After starting the day with a few hundred Twitter followers, she rocketed up to more than 15,000 (Update: 36,500 by Wednesday afternoon and growing).”
She’s now got over 50,000, plus an additional 228,000 more over on Instagram.
Mallory Edens’ father Wes Edens, who is worth an estimated $3.6 billion, founded New Fortress Energy and co-founded Fortress Investment Group. He is also the co-owner of association football holding company V Sports – the owners of the English Premier League soccer club Aston Villa.
In 2017, Mallory told TMZ, “I want to buy the Knicks one day. We’ll see how that works out.”
That same year, she made a pitch on Twitter in an effort to recruit then Knicks star Kristaps Porzingis to the Bucks.
She would go on to graduate from Princeton in 2018 where she competed in track and field.
Since then, Mallory Edens, who is represented by the modeling agency Women Management Los Angeles, has been busy working for companies like Alaïa and Alessandra Rich.
Edens’ latest Instagram post, showing some of her modeling work, was liked by Aaron Rodgers, fueling even more speculation about their relationship.
She also has two brothers, Quentin and Ryan. Her sister, Dr. Madison Edens, is also a bit of an Instagram enthusiast.
