When someone with an incredible sense of humor like Ryan Reynolds says he’s going to reveal the greatest prank he’s ever pulled, that gets our attention. Because one can only imagine the kinds of things that go through a mind like his. Between how funny he is on film, to the things he does and says on social media to his relentless ball-busting of Hugh Jackman, Reynolds is truly one-of-a-kind.
Around him no one is safe. Just yesterday we were singing the praises of just how jacked Reynolds new co-star for Deadpool 2 Josh Brolin is as he packed on the muscle to play Cable. Of course, Reynolds already beat us to that punch on social media, but not in the way we presented it.
Hilarious.
So like I said, when he says he’s going to reveal his greatest prank ever, we listen.
Here’s how he explained it in a new video for Men’s Health…
“A friend of mine left town for a week. When he was gone, I painted his entire office puce,” tells Reynolds. Puce? Yes, puce. Or as Reynolds describes it, “a strange color, because it’s kind of like this muddy, ugly sort of red.”
“But we didn’t just paint his office that color, we painted everything in his entire office that color.” And when he says his entire office he means, “the inside of his desk, every pencil, every pen, everything.”
Have to admit. That’s a pretty good prank.

In a separate interview with Glamour, Reynolds’ wife Blake Lively finally admitted that all those hilarious tweets Ryan posts about his daughters? Yeah, he makes them up.
He may as well work for the Enquirer. When he says “my daughter,” he’s never, ever talking about her. Everything is a completely made-up scenario. He’ll run them by me sometimes just to make me laugh. But oh, I’m so in love with him when he writes that stuff. I mean, I’m in love with him most of the time, but especially with that.
