‘Apparently It’s Like Impossible To Get’: Arizona Woman Only Needs 1 More McDonald’s Monopoly Piece To Win A Winnebago. So She Turns To The Internet

After a decade, McDonald’s has brought back a beloved nostalgic game to fans everywhere: Monopoly. The prize-riddled game has customers hunting for game pieces in their fries, hoping to collect enough to win. While the chances of winning the big prizes are extremely low, one woman is determined to bargain with TikTokers and share the glory.

What Is The McDonald’s Monopoly Game?

First introduced in 1987, the game is back after nearly a decade. It’s still a game offering multiple prizes, but of course, many of the game pieces are now digital. Folks will need to hunt for game pieces—both physical stickers and by registering them in the app—in their meals (a full list of eligible meals can be found here.)

The low-stakes prizes include coupons and free breakfast offerings, but it’s the epic vacations, a Winnebago, and even a trip to Universal Orlando that have folks buying combos like it’s a sport.

The catch? The odds of winning big are very low, to say the least. Because of this, one woman had a bright idea to team up with a stranger by seeking help in the one place she might have a chance: the internet.

She Wants A Winnebago

In a viral clip, user @yayahyeayeah reveals one of the game pieces she found in her McDonald’s meal. She shows the Park Place sticker, so according to the rules, now she only needs a Boardwalk piece to cop herself a 2026 Winnebago.

“Now, honestly, I’m not really interested in a Winnebago,” the TikToker says in her clip. “But I am interested in the retail value of it.” The sticker she’s holding values the vehicle at $253,883.

She continues that she’s already registered the game piece in her McDonald’s app.

“I also did some research, and it’s apparently impossible to get a Boardwalk,” she says. The creator is not entirely wrong. According to the game rules, the combination of getting a Park Place and Boardwalk to win the Winnebago is 1 in 5,934,960,419.

But @yayahyeayeah has a plan.

“I don’t know how to convince the internet to trust me, but if any kind soul out there gets a Boardwalk piece they have not registered yet and wants to strike a deal, my DMs are open,” she says. “I’ll split this prize with you.”

Her proposal? Selling the Winnebago and splitting the money. To make the deal sweeter, @yayahyeayeah adds that she’ll take 30% while the other person takes home 70%.

“Let me know if anyone’s interested,” she concludes. “I’mma help you if you help me.”

What Do Viewers Think?

Many of the TikToker’s viewers thought she’d have a hard time finding someone with a Boardwalk piece, let alone someone willing to part with it.

“I respect your hustle 100% lol. But if anyone finds Boardwalk, they should just buy some more McDonalds until they find Park Place. Park Place is common,” one said. Another was amused by her using TikTok to find a business partner.

“McDonald’s definitely did not think about the ramifications of people trading pieces using TikTok,” they wrote.

Others, however, thought the burger company was more than likely conspiratorial over the Boardwalk piece.

“You’re not getting that boardwalk piece. McDonald’s printing company has already given that piece to a friend or family member,” they accused. While another echoed, “Are we just gonna trust McDonalds ain’t scamming us again?”

What Is The McDonald’s Monopoly Scandal?

What these viewers are referring to is the incident in which a McDonald’s employee was selling $1 million game pieces to people for $50,000. The scandal was so incendiary that the FBI got involved and arrested the 8 people responsible for the crime ring. Despite the 2025 version being “scam-proof,” according to McDonald’s, folks are still suspicious, if not downright outraged. After finding out the odds of winning the really epic prizes, a Redditor ranted in the r/mildlyinfuriating subreddit about the “unfairness” of it all.

“Went to McDonald’s and got me a quick dinner I saw the Monopoly scratch off game and was like OK cool I’m gonna play that bored and sitting in my car I look up the yards in absolutely flabbergasted,” they wrote. “What the F—. 1 to 60 Billion???”

They continued, “This is absolutely insane. How is this even legal?”

One top comment read what everyone was thinking: “It’s always been rigged.”
