Here’s one for your traveling bucket list. A Chinese company, Guizhou Ludiya Property Management Co., put a man-made 350-foot waterfall on the side of a skyscraper and it’s freaking incredible.

Now visitors to the city’s central business district in Guiyang will get an extra treat when they visit and see the mammoth 397-foot tall Liebian Building. That’s assuming that the waterfall is turned on at the time. Which is no guarantee.

For some reason, the locals are a little bent out of shape by the fact that the electricity needed to power the four 185-kilowatt pumps which carry the water from a four-story underground water storage and drainage system costs around $118 an hour.

A spokesperson for the building told Kan Kan News, “That’s why we don’t switch on the waterfall every day – only for special festivities in the city.”

The Times also reported that people in the city called newspapers to report what they thought was a massive water leak when they first saw the waterfall. Thankfully, that’s not an issue any longer.
