I’m going to be completely honest with you: I’ve yet to watch an episode of Netflix’s The Witcher yet.

It’s not the fault of the show, either, I just haven’t gotten to it. With Narcos: Mexico returning and Star Wars: The Clone Wars on the way, the beginning of my free time this year has been consumed by those two series.

I swear, though, The Witcher is firmly at the top of my list, especially when considering that A) according to the data, it’s the most popular show in the world (and therefore Netflix), and B) they’ve reportedly just added Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivjuhas, a.k.a. Tormund (!!!), to the cast for season two, which is currently in production.

Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju has has supposedly landed a role in the second season of Netflix’s The Witcher, according to recent reports. Redanian Intelligence, a site that’s all about covering news on The Witcher and other similar projects, said Hivjuhas had been cast as the character “Nivellen” in the show’s next season. This latest assurance of the actor’s inclusion in The Witcher follows rumors from before that suggested the actor might be involved with the show.

Redanian Intelligence cited a casting breakdown as the source of the information about Hivjuhas supposedly playing Nivellen. The casting breakdown was reportedly obtained by the site with the actor’s name listed among others [via ComicBook]

While Netflix has yet to announce when the second season of The Witcher will debut, we can promise you that when it does, it will be all the better with Hivju now part of the cast.
