Buzz about Grand Theft Auto 6 has picked up significantly in recent months with Rockstar Game job listings, leaked resumes, and reports on where it will take place. A new rumor points to a specific date as to when Rockstar Games could announce GTA 6.
An internet rumor has gaming fans excited about what could come in a short few weeks. According to an alleged employee of Rockstar Games, the video game developer is poised to make an important announcement in June.
Reddit user ThirdeyeReddit claims to be an employee of Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games. This unconfirmed person said that Rockstar Games is currently working on creating a “landing page” for an unannounced game. In the now-deleted post, the redditor said that Rockstar’s announcement will “completely blindside you.”
E3 2019 kicks off exactly one month from today, on June 11th and runs through June 13th at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.

Could the announcement be GTA 6? While a Grand Theft Auto 6 announcement would be surprising, it probably wouldn’t blindside anyone, especially with all of the rumors swirling. Rockstar Games just released Red Dead Redemption 2 last October, so that’s not a possibility. Gamers are thinking that if this rumor is true then maybe Rockstar will announce Bully 2 at E3 2019.
The original Bully video game was released on October 17, 2006, and has a very strong cult following. After 13 years to the original, a sequel to the open-world game about everyone’s favorite Bullworth high school student Jimmy Hopkins would blindside many. There are many who believe that the announcement could also be about a sequel to 2011’s L.A. Noire game. We’ll have to wait and see.
